Just bought (new) Nintendo 2DS doesn't power up, no LED light

So I just bought a new Nintendo 2DS from Best Buy. After getting to my house, I tried to turn it on for the first time, but it didn't respond. Obviously, I thought that maybe I had to charge it first, but the LED light doesn't even turn on.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

If you still have the receipt and it's within (usually) 30 days, return it for a new one and let them know it was some kind of manufacturer's defect. If they refuse or can't return it, you could try a couple other things.

  1. Try another battery or test your current battery with another device
  2. Try another charge cord or test the cord with any Nintendo DSi and up (XL, 3DS, etc)
  3. If you have a multimeter, test the fuses. F1 Fuse Location is here, as for any others, I'm not sure without having a physical PCB in my hands.

Try out those suggestions first, preferable returning it first.
