The video display is fragmented. Screen unreadable and not broken

Problem= screen unreadable.

Help ! I've tried Pram / SMC Reset.

Cleaned interior, bought a new HD, and even disassembled and heated both graphics chips to ensure good solder connections. Nothing happened!

Chime, power & fans all work, super drive engages. But, screen is fragmented, glass is not broken.

Is it a graphics issue? I thought maybe HD was corrupted but a new one did not solve the issue.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. I will attempt to include foto of screen after boot up.

Sorry guy your screen is damaged! Do you see the dark spot in the far left thats were something hit the lid and cracked the LCD panel from the back which is why the cover glass isn't broken. You can prove this by plugging in an external display (which is what I would have done first here).

OK, here's the deal:

If you can I would try to return the HD so you get some money to get the correct part you need.

thank you for your repsonse. when my friend brought me the computer she was aware that it was about to crash a a warning showed up alerting her to this-from some 3rd party website. It was strange how the display slowly failed. part odf the screen was still accessible. i will try the external monitor. thank s!

You were absolutely correct. There is a dent opposite the center of fragmentation on outside cover.
