Why won't my laptop charge when it is plugged in?

Every time I try to plug in my laptop, it either charges for about a minute and then stops, or I have to hold the charger in place so that it does not move. Is there a way to fix this problem? I need my laptop to be able to charge completely.

Answer this question I have this problem too

I'm not sure where you would obtain such a part, but the part to be replaced is the DC-in board. This is the piece that has the plug that goes to the logic board. If you open up the device using a phillips 0 or 00 screwdriver, then using a metal spudger to unlatch the clips around the sides, it's the small piece with several colored wires near the power in, and may require the removal of other components. There may be a part number that you can look up on eBay or Amazon to find the part. Make sure that the part is authentic or at least UL listed so it doesn't burst into flames the first time you try to use it.
