Sony Vaio "operating system not found"
My laptop fell from the bed and when i turn it on , it said the operating system was not found?
Please could u tell me what happened? Thanks

Hard Drive most likely damaged. You will need to replace the hard drive and then reinstall the operating system on the new hard drive if it doesn't work at all.
Did you drop it while it was on?

pull the hard drive and test it in an external hard drive enclosure to see if your completely screwed or if its just the boot sector that's done . you may be able to recover some of the data. hard disc sentinel is a god program to use to check its life . When replacing the hard drive check out ssd's as a good alternative to a normal hard drive
