Why can't I get out of safe mode?

I put my phone in safe mode to uninstall an app, and now I cannot shut it down to start it up the right way. I never get my Home screen, and have removed the battery several times as was suggested, but that doesn't work. Any ideas out there?

Hi,

Try the following.

If you can turn off the phone, skip the part about removing the battery.

Take out the battery for a few minutes, then put the battery back in, press and hold the volume up button then press the power button and continue to hold the volume up button until your phone turns completely on.

Thank you for your reply- to my question, however that sis not work. How frustrating ..... The phone repeats the initial reboot, but I never get the Home screen.....

Hello again, I held the volume up button and start button together again, and did eventually get a menu with a reboot option, but Highlighting that option and then pressing the enter key, as suggested, does not do anything....

Hi,

Try the 'WIPE DATA FACTORY RESET' option. This will put you phone back to factory condition. Like when you first bought it. It will erase all the data that YOU put in it but at least it will be like new again.
