Front Glass/Digitizer Touch Panel not seated.

"My first attempt at a repair. I wasn't able to get the Front Glass/Digitizer Touch Panel completely down inside the plastic bezel. Is there a tape or something to wrap around the outside to hold it down that looks OK? This repair is for me not a customer. I just want to keep the glass from breaking as it sticks up ever so slightly.

If you start putting pressure on the screen by taping the edges you will start having issues like ghost touching, and more than likely will break the screen again. Plus without those edges being under that plastic edge that screen is going to start lifting. Best bet do it right, remove the screen, re tape and put the screen inside the plastic edge like it was designed to do. When taking off the screen use lots of heat and go slow!!
