How to fix or replace the headphone jack?

No sound comes from wired headphones when plugged in (except for a very faint sound in the left ear when volume is turned all the way up). Tried cleaning the jack and no dice. Is there a way to fix or replace the part? A guide for this would be welcome.

Hi,

Here is the Ifixit guide to remove the motherboard for a PlayStation Vita. The headphone socket is mounted on the motherboard and it would need to be unsoldered to be removed. If you scroll down to the very bottom of the page in the link you will clearly see the headphone socket on the motherboard.

PlayStation Vita Motherboard Replacement

You may wish to contact the company in this link and ask if they have a replacement headphone socket for a Playstation Vita. There seems to be nothing else out there.
