Why is my HTC Desire not charging properly?
The HTC Desire will not charge when it is plugged into the charger.

The charger for the HTC Desire might be broken. Try using the charger on another device. If the charger does not work, replace the Micro USB charger. If the charger does work, the problem is most likely with the charging port.
If the prong inside the charging port is damaged (bent, broken, or missing) the charging port might need to be replaced.
