Screen Does not Go Black While Talking on The Phone?

I change my iphone 3G screen and it is working fine now except that the screen does not go black while I am talking on the phone which is giving me a hard time because it keeps hanging up or does other thing because my face will hit one of the button while i am talking. I was wondering if that is a problem with screen or I have done something bad while replacing it.

your proximity sensor is not working. you need to replace it...

you either buy it here comming as the whole assembly including screen iPhone 3G Display Assembly , or you need to search ebay for proximity sensor replacement......
