can i replace just the home button?

Just wanted to know, my home button broke, can i replace just the part, instead of getting the entire display kit??

The home button is not part of the digitizer/front panel. It is a separate piece, but iFixit does not offer it separately.

There are a few sources for the part elsewhere on the internet. Just so you know, replacing the home button requires the same steps as replacing the digitizer/front panel...
