How do I unlock or reset firmware password on my MacBook air?

i wanna install os x from flash but when i hold down 'option' there is firmware password and not giving access to boot... so what can i do how can i reset or unlock pls?

Sadly, you'll need to bring your system to an Apple Store for them to unlock it. But you will need proof of ownership do you still have your receipt and/or register your system when you got it.
