What adhesive should I use to hold the screen in?

After finding a replacement screen for this device and using the 3M double sided adhesive found on this site the screen is simply not staying in place. When opening and closing the device significant bowing takes place in the LCD assembly. This causes the glass screen to come out of its plastic bezel. I have tried the double sided adhesive twice now. The second time covering every surface that comes in contact with any backing plastic with the stuff and it is just not strong enough. Does anyone have an suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I am not familiar with this issue your having, do you need to be able to take the screen back off? or is this a permanent fixture? Industrial sticky tape is much better than what you can buy in the store.

Taking it back off would be nice, permanently affixing it to the system would be a last resort.

ben, have you tried the E-6000, what can you tell? I wanna use it to seal my xperia z3 since the supposedly oem adhesive isn't holding. I'm just afraid it won't be able to take it apart again after it, no even with heat.

test it on two like surfaces and see if you can remove it with heat before using it on the phone

I have a cracked screen on my Vaio Flip, can you explain in more detail how you replaced the glass?

I have found if you are having trouble with adhesive the best to use is Tesa 4970. It has a much stronger grab than most adhesive that comes with replacement screens.
