I called Virgin Mobile 888-322-1122 and they said it was a google problem and gave me a number to call that did not work right. The message appears every three seconds on my phone and I cannot do anything. Been happening for over a day now. I have managed to disable tons of things but to no avail.
Update (10/02/2015)
ok, I got it fixed, I have an LG Optimus -- I went to settings, Apps, scrolled to the right to All heading, scrolled down to find Google Search and did "clear data". Turned off phone and turned it back on.

This was a very easy fix that no one could help me with.

I had this problem also, if you go into settings and languages and uncheck google voice it will fix the problem.

i dont know why google is so popular and in the same time they have so many problems when people use it , some of my problems always giving me message google stopped responding, why is that ?
After clearing the data turn phone OFF !!! Take out the battery wait about a minute then put it back in an turn it on.

on my lg phone this is how it was corrected, go to settings, then to language & input, and un check the google voice typing and voila done

I never setup a web page to sell products only to play games now I need to pick out a new user name as mine is to old. Which search engine isthe easiest to work with? I really feel intimidated trying to set up something I know nothing about. I really need some advice and help.

Clearing the data on google search, powering off and taking out the battery for a minute fixed this for my phone. Thanks!

Systems settings/ Apps/ Google search/ Force stop/ Clear data.
Result? No more "Unfortunately, Google search has stopped".
Keyboard will be reactivated within a few minutes.
