Sim tray slighttly misaligned + a tiny rubber part left out

Hi There!

Along the iFixit guide I disassebled an iPhone 4, then put the device together again and it works fine. There are two things that I noticed after it:

1) The sim tray is somehow misaligned, and I remember it was hard to position the logic board back into place and maybe that is why the sim tray is misled by it just a tiny bit. Although I havent tried it yet with a sim card, because I don"t have the micro one at how right now. Any thoughts on that? (see attached photo)

2) At the very and of the reassembling process a little rubber part left out of the phone and I got curious where this little piece can fit (see attached photo). I suggest it is not so healthy to left something out long-term, but it is working though.

Thanks for all the help!

The rubber piece goes between the logic board and the Digi/LCD cables from the screen to prevent the logic board from damaging the cables. Make sure the Battery pull tab isn't stuck under the logic board, that could be the cause of your SIM tray issues. I recommend disassembling the phone and starting over. Make sure to proceed carefully and if you find that you are needing to force something together then something is not in the right place .
