screen black, won't power on. was using gps, unplugged at gas station,

Hi was using Samsung 3 for gps, there was a note on screen that said something about relocation. with a stopped spinning circle. stopped at gas station, unplugged it, now it will not turn on. Completely black screen, no response or vibration when buttons are pushed. I switched out battery to see if the issue. Took out sim card and memory card as well. I have done the power, volume up and down as well as home button at the same time. Please, any assistance would be invaluable!!

When I plug in phone without battery in it, the red indicator light on left side is lit. This is my only phone, medical information critical on it.

I would love for it to come alive again! So appreciative of any help. Also, can the KIES3 help, how to do? Thanks!!!
