Large apps close (eg. Dragonvale)

Is there a way to tweak the processor in an IPad wi-fi so larger apps will run? Is there a way to "force feed" an upgrade? I have IOS 5 need to upgrade if possible.

The hardware inside the original iPad limits how well certain Apps will work. It also it means you can't upgrade past IOS 5 as the newer IOS versions would cause it to freeze and perform really badly.

I don't think there is anyway you can improve its performance as it is pretty much limited to the hardware inside it.
