MacBook won't Power on After Screen Replacement

I replaced the screen in my A1278 MacBook Pro and now it will turn on - show the apple logo - and then shut down

Also the screen has an odd blue-ish tint to it and when it first turns on the back lights on the bottom are really pronounced

Thanks for the help

UPDATE: I got it to turn on - now the screen just occasionally flickers - could this just be a bad LCD?

These are some of the possible causes

1. Bad connection on either end of the LCD

2. Bad LCD flex

3. Bad LCD

4. Damaged LVDS connector

Troubleshoot accordingly and post your results!

Its possible its a bad LCD, but also it is possible the connectors arent sitting right. I would clean it with contact cleaner or Alcohol and reseat the cables.
