8:98 display time for normal wash

My washer keeps showing a display time of 8:98 instead of the normal 45 minutes that comes up when you push the normal wash button. It also won't let me change the temperature settings there's no lights on that side of the washer. The washer still runs the normal cycle but stays at 8:98 and then shuts off normally. I tried unplugging for a few hours and it's sill happening. Any suggestions?
