SIM not recognised after galaxy s3 shv-e210l LCD replacement, why?

galaxy s3 shv-e210l

Hi, I am having trouble with recognising any SIM card on galaxy s3 shv-e210l. I have two devices and both changed LCD.

Both weren't working yesterday. One started working today- I mean the SIM. Both look like there are Korean models so with LTE imported and used in New Zealand. Usually they suppose to work on two NZ network providers which is 2 degree and Vodafone.

What is strange about both phones: 1.A. IMEI (when checked via Samsung code one has 16 digits- working one, other 17 digits) checked via imei.info appears as IMEI invalid, I am not sure what it may means, B. when checked on sticker under battery both IMEI are shorter by 2 last digits so 14 and 15 and are recognised on imei.info ; 2. normally when you insert SIM you can search manually for network- one phone which I am having issues now does not recognise the card at all, second when you click on mobile networks there are only two options available : data network settings and access point names. Data on working phone does work but only 3g so not good at all but I am interested mostly in recognising SIM. I do not think that there is something wrong with SIM slot however I haven't tried with new one. As I said yesterday both phones wouldn't recognise the sim card, today only one.

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks
