Replacement screen fitted successfully. LCD Blobs/Spots

When I touch the top corners where the screen starts seems like the lcd is getting distorted patches. Same with the bottom when I touch the corners & home button.

Is this to do with fitting. I have done several before & not had any problem before. I know I have had a problem with pinching the cables. e.t.c. As I have a snug fit or is it just the quality of the replacement lcd. Glass being cheap. I have not overtightened the screws.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance :)

Poor quality, or something pushing up on it like a swollen battery or flex cable.

thanks for you help. I am sure it is not the battery or the flex cables so it is just the poor quality of the replacement screen. It is weird because I bought several off the same person before, With no issues. This is where it is annoying continuity of supply.

Have you tried put extra double size tape under the top & bottom of the screen to see if it makes this problem lessen?

by

I am not sure what you mean, but I never add anything that wasn't there to begin with.

I just mean't replacing the double sided tape. I have taken the phone all the way apart again & it still does not make any difference. Still the same I take it is just a poor quality screen. Thanks again for your help

I've seen this twice before and was resolved the first time be carefully reinstalling and the second time it turned out to be the screen.

Thanks for you help. I will take it apart again & give it a whirl. I will report back.

I have a feeling it is just a bad matrix (positioning/gluing of the lcd)

Fully rebuilt. Slowly & carefully no difference. Must be just a rubbish quality replacement :(
