I dropped my phone and when I went to turn it on, it buzzed, (like it is supposed to) but the screen did nothing. I know it worked because of the light that notifies me when i have a notification blinked. I need to know how to fix it.

Hi River,
Examine the screen really hard. Try to look "underneath" the glass. Does the LCD underneath seem cracked?
Because you probably have a cracked LCD, requiring you to replace the whole screen assembly.
Here's the guide that explains how to replace your screen assembly.
Use it first to disconnect then reseat your screen connector; if you're lucky, may be the drop just displaced something and disconnecting then reconnecting the cable will solve it for your.
If not, you can choose to replace that screen assembly using the guide which also has links to the needed tools and parts.
