My ps3 slim won't turn on at all after power outage?

I am looking into buying a new Power Supply so I can play it again. What are the odds that a new power supply will let my ps3 turn on and I can play it again? Any answer helps <3

Junior Johnson, the odds are pretty good. It is possible that the power outage faulted your PSU. Replace it and re-evaluate.

-The ps3 slim might have been short-circuited by the power outage

-There is not enough power to power the ps3 slim.

So what you are telling me is that there is no possible way a new power supply will fix my issue?

I'd recommend that you give it a try. Go to the store and buy it. If it works, congrats. If not, return it, then your PS3 slim has a short-circuit.
