Screw stuck in Dell monitor's DVI port.

So I had the great idea of trying pliers reading online to remove it... But I did not read very clearly and I kind of screwed the whole thing up. I was wondering if I could still manually do this myself or should I look for a professional for help. I can't open the monitor up either because I don't have the right screwdriver for it.

you can turn it counter clock wise with a plier on the part where the screw goes in to.

the whole thing should come out and just leave it out.
