Sound for calls and massages doesn't work

I recently repaired my old iPhone 4's front display.

While repairing it I somehow broke the socket that makes the iPhone make Sound when someone calls it or text it.

I can still watch videoes online and make Sound tests on my iPhone, but i cannot use the buttons on the side to turn the volume up/down.

Is there a solution to problem so that I can use the system-Sounds that makes the phone make Sound when playing videos and such, in a way so I can use them when I receive calls and massages?

If not, is there a way to repair the socket?
