Released on April 2014, this 16 GB Oppo Find 7a is the cheaper version of the Oppo Find 7. To distinguish the Find 7a from the 7, remove the back panel as well as the battery. There should be two serial number stickers that say X9000 where the battery lies flush to the phone.

NO you can not, I already tried it myself.

Lucky you the screen is way cheaper then mine (Find 7 x9077)

Now I replaced the screen myself, but when I putting it back to one piece, i lost my power and volume button parts for in the motherboard, so the %#*@ thing won't fire up anymore...

hi, where did you buy the display/touch module for your FInd 7 x9007? I have a Find7, x9076 and broke my front glass and now the touch panel is not working

I can confirm.

The LCD+Digitizer is all one unit.

I HIGHLY advise to buy a replacement that already has the frame (front cover) glued on, otherwise it's a messy job to glue it into place and run all the ribbons properly (and they are sold for the same price)

Feel free to PM me for more info.

Hi where can I order the whole package?

by

You need to buy it directly from china from places like aliexpress or amazon if you can find it.

This site won't let me link it.

It takes a month to arrive. I hope you have a backup phone

here are several different find 7 models.

with different screen resolutions.

mine is x9077 x9076- high resolution.

you must make sure you bought the right one ...

find 7a models : x9000 - x9006 x9007 - low resolution

find 7 models : x9077 x9076 - high resolution

i would not dremel anything - part does not fit - get the right part. no other way...

You can get either one. LCD+Digitizer+Frame or each piece separately.

Go to

http://www.aliexpress.com/store/1716138

Message the seller (he replies within hours if you message at night (China's morning) and he will give you a custom link to buy exactly what you want if they don't have what you need on their store.

I got my Find7 stuff from him. Shipping takes about a week and a half or less depending on which shipping.

did you succes changing it? i just found some videos of find5 replacements or oneplusone. i hope they are similars to oppo find 7a x9000.

by

Because I got the LCD+Digitizer+Frame. The tricky issue I had was removing the mother board connector strips from the old frame to the new one. These strips connect the bottom circuit board to the top board. The issue is having to take off the Front screen from the frame so that you can remove the strips because they are fished through this really narrow "tunnel" on the right side of the phone (screen facing down, charging port facing you).

I used the video of the Find 7a on this website for my guide. It was my first time doing this, and it works flawlessly. If you get stuck, you can always have a phone repair store finish the job for you.

by

That is great to know.

by

Edgar can you send the link for the removal of connector strips?

Very easy to replace the screen. Ive done it myself...now twice. Not messy at all. You DONT need an extra frame unless your original one has scratches and you want to replace it. I replace mine everytime I crack my screen because, well why not get a scratch free casing too like a new phone!

Hello iFixiters,

some Month ago, my Oppo Find 7a X9006-Display broke and i bought a cheap Replace-Display from a chinese Dealer on Ebay. After two Weeks he sent me the Display and I replaced it with the one in my Phone. After some Starting-Issues and another Dis-and Re-Assembling everything runs fine and my Oppo was usable again.

After just three Days, while I was typing a Whatsapp, the new Screen begans to brake under my Fingertips (without any strong pressure) and one day later the Touch-Function also stops working.

It seems like, that all of the Displays you could buy on Ebay are not original "Oppo Parts" and they were build without Gorillaglass! Not like the Original-Displays.

Just wearing the Phone in your Pocket, or gently typing on the Screen could brake it! That is really cheap $@$*, nothing more! I waited about two Weeks till it was delivered, another 2 Weeks to reassamble it and now, everything starts over again and I am, where i had allready been...Once upon a Time ....

So my Question is: Where can I buy original Parts in Oppo-Quality or with a similar Quality? What do I have to pay for an original Display? Hopefully there would be one with Frame and Digitizer pre-assembled. Any Tipps or Links?

Or, does anybody of you have a working (new or disassembled) but ORIGINAL Oppo-Display, that he would like to sell? Please make me a fair offer, for this "old" Model.

Thanks a lot for your Advices ,Tipps or Offers...

my E-Mail-Adress is: einfachnurso@hotmail.de

1. So I purchased the Find7 Frame+Screen (it came in as one piece) I used AliExpress.com - the issue I see, is that the LCD connector does not match the connector on the Upper motherboard.

2. Also another issue is to install the Motherboard strip connectors that attach upper and lower motherboard on my new LCD+Frame. It seems I have to detach the new screen from its frame and install the Motherboard connector strips where they belong.

Any ideas?

2. I was thinking of using a Dremel Tool to saw a part the frame so I can just slip the motherboard strip connectors underneath where they belong.

I bought an LCD + Digitizer screen for my Oppo x9077 and I changed it myself. I think I did a good job, I connected all the right things. The phone turns on and I know it's working because I can use it via the laptop but the screen is completely dead.

I am not sure if there's another trick to it. The company who sold me the screen claim that they tested the screen before they sent it to me and it arrived well packaged in very good condition.

I cannot understand why it's not lighting up.

A tutorial would be very helpful here because a lot of people are commenting about a screen change but no such tutorial exists.

I am pretty sure I did mine correctly and I don't know what to do next... order another screen or try reconnecting it?

Very sad :(

I have a Find7 whose lcd assembly is broken beyond repair .So I found an ebay seller here in the uk selling it for a reasonable price. But now reading your comments I realize I ordered a Find7A display X9007 for a Find 7 which is X9076.

I am afraid now that it is not going to work, as the one I had came in 2k resolution while the one I ordered is just 1080p.

I mean I am perfectly fine with a lower resolution as long as it works, but will it?

I hope it will,

Please how do I change my oppo screen?

by

Ozzy. There's not much i can say over the internet to help you. Google a scrren replacement video. But i give you this warning. It's not worth fixing.

The phone is now 5 years old and the replacement screen are not the same quality as the oem.

My suggestion is that you buy a new device instead for $50 more you could have a ulephone or a doogee

The advancements in socs and storage make it worth every penny
