New screen not very responsive, must push hard and some areas worse.

I replaced my screen and the new screen seems to have digitizer issues. I have to push much harder than normal and some areas of the screen are less responsive than others. I have never seen this before, what can i do? I have already tried reseeding the connector cables.

Did you buy the whole assembly or just replace the glass? Where did you buy replacement parts from?

by

I purchased the entire front assembly from Wholesalegadgetparts.com. They have always had good products for in my experience. I did call them and had them send out a QC tested screen for a replacement. Once i got it in the screen worked perfectly.

Turns out the part was just faulty. I used a new one and it worked perfectly. The faulty one was like trying to use the very 1st touch screen ever. It needed lots of force and only worked sometimes.

Also same problem... i buyer 2 different iphone 6 screens(lcd inc glass) from a wholesaler from China.

The 1 screen stays much higher on the edge then a original screen. You can feel the sides from the screen on the edges.

You can't do anything to solve this, it is the quality of the screen.

The another screen is perfectly fit on the iPhone 6.

It is really matter of quality.

Hope this helps.
