Is the JBL Charge waterproof?

I want to use the Charge at a pool party. The device description written says that the device is durable and built for outdoor activities, so I am curious if it will function in a pool setting.

The device is not waterproof. It will fail to function when in a pool, but it should work in light rainfall. If the device is exposed to water damage, refer to the Troubleshooting page.
