What is the largest SSD available for a 2015 MacBook Pro?

I am looking for the largest SSD that is compatible with the 2015 15" MacBook Pro. I am going to be using this to edit and store 6K files.

You are limited presently to what Apple sell's within their systems, their largest offer is 512 GB.

If you had a MacBook Pro Retina 15" Early 2013 the largest 3rd party option currently being offered is 1.0 TB.

So there is hope future options will be available from 3rd parties. For now I would recommend getting an external Thunderbolt (or USB3) HD or SSD drive.

Just upgrade my mid-2015 Macbook Pro 15 Retina SSD (11,4) from 256 to 960GB (1TB),

FYI, the ssd I used is ADATA SX8200NP, and adapter is from Amazon, Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card For Upgrade 2013-2015 MacBook.

Everything works well except the SMART data is not available, but it hurts nothing as I regularly sync over time machine.
