Turning on intermittently after water spill (3 hour cycles)?

The fan is working and the system works perfectly until all of the sudden....bam...it turns off out of no where....then later it will turn back on. If it's turning on and running perfect I'm sure the logic board and all major components are fine. My guess is there is some corrosion on a connection somewhere from the water and it's very touchy. So when the temperature fluctuates causing expansion or contraction it severs a connection somewhere in the system. The only thing I can think to do is to tear it down and put it back together hoping I fix the connection along the way? I'm just curious to get any input what so ever on the matter. This computer was my baby.

Thank you ahead of time for your input.

There can be quite a few causes here.

The first is some of the spill got deeper into the system and still needs to be cleaned out. Did you remove the logic board and clean it fully?

You could also have a temperature issue. Download this app to check things out: Temperature Gauge Pro. Post a screenshot of what it shows for us to see. You may want to get the full version so you can log the sensors just as your system winks out.
