Options

Replaced battery; now screen is very light and distorted *see pictures

I replaced my battery. Upon reassembly, screen is fully functional, but very light with horizontal and vertical ghost stripes. Nearly unreadable. Any help is appreciated.

Options

Try reseating your lcd connector , also take a close look at the pins on the connector, they may be damaged.
