Hi i have a dell windows 7 coa sticker but just got a used better hp computer. I have the general install disk for windows 7, can i use the windows 7 dell sticker to activate windows on the hp?

You can use that COA to INSTALL Windows 7. And if your Windows 7 Disk is an actual Microsoft Disk..When you go to activate..Use the automated phone activation option.
Reasons it may not work:
-If the System is 32bit and your disk is a 64bit Operating System
- Disk is from an ISO downloaded from a Torrent.
**You can download a GENUINE copy of Windows 7 from MSDN**
