I have a white screen issue with my laptop, can anybody help?
My laptop has an issue regarding a white screen with faded horizontal lines going across it. This changes upon start up with vertical coloured lines running through the screen.
I'll break down the situation,
Around a year ago I was heavily dosed out on meds for Crohn's with my laptop laying beside me in bed, it wasn't overheating or anything just running fine.
I moved the laptop in my docile state by pulling the edge of the screen which caused the display to flicker and then this whitescreen to appear.
I have the laptop hooked to an external screen and all runs perfectly well, keyboard, the lot. I believe that it may be a problem with the cable connecting the screen to the motherboard/ rest of the PC? As I said I gripped the side of the screen completely unaware of what I was doing.
Above is an image of what it looks like, I'm very sure it's not actual screen damage I believe it's a connection issue if somebody can guide or advise me on this?
