I had exactly the same. I updated Microsoft security manually (on november 2nd 21:30 Dutch time) and immidiately the treat was found and I allowed Microsoft essentials to delete it. Problem seems solved

Same problem here, on a friend's Windows 7 laptop. Tried Malwarebytes, Ad-Aware, Avast!, CCleaner, Wise Registry Cleaner, etc. So far nothing has worked. I'm trying to see if the firewall will block whatever it is from accessing specific sites. If that works I'll post more info here.
