Sony cassette player, erratic tape motion

My 1980s vintage Sony cassette player won't advance or rewind the tape reliably. Evidently it is related to aging of the drive belts. Does anyone have a source for new belts and alignment procedures? I'm trying to go digital but need to read the tapes reliably.
