Accidentally removed whole battery cable during repair, how to fix?

I recently bought a Vita off of eBay for a cheap price but I noticed the left joystick was faulty and attempted a repair from this site. Everything was going great until I accidentally removed the entire battery cable instead of the small black cable. I'm not sure how to put the battery cable back on the system. The Vita will not turn on and I have no idea how to fix it, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I'm not sure how to add pictures, sorry, but I can describe it. The whole battery stayed on the system however the black, red, and white cable connecting the front and back cases (as seen in step 7 of the provided guide) was removed entirely rather then just the black portion. I'm not sure how to put it back on the system, hope this is a bit more helpful.

Hello, I hope this is the right place to ask this. I think I have the same problem as Ryan Then.

I was doing the same repair and misunderstood what I was supposed to do with the battery cable and ended up detaching the whole thing. Now obviously there's no power and I can't turn the system on. I'm guessing I might need to solder it back on and could use some assistance.

Thanks.

Edited to include photo.
