My ps3 slim powers on, but tv screen shows blank.Why is that?

I turn on my ps3 slim. I either use my hdmi cord or the regular av cord but the my tv screen shows blank on both cord even though the ps3 green light is on , i would greatly appreciate a reason for this problem. Thank You.

Options

Hi,

Can you enter Service menu? Press and hold power on button until you hear one beep, then two beeps and then release it. From here try first "Restore Default Settings". If this not help you, try "Restore PS3 System" but you will lose all data.
