Slides/gestures after change of battery (3 GS)

Everything else wifi (jailbreak springboard on top left), music (home button voice command) seems to work. Most of the areas are unresponsive. After reboot I also can´t type all numbers.

Could be a loose connector? If yes which of them?

The iPhone is running now with WiFi, Music, Location, Buetooth to empty the battery. Then I gonna open it again.

Can I also open it while running? Will it turn off automatically or is dangerous? I just ask cause I can´t use the slide to switch function. Any other solution?

Okay it was the connector. But now I can´t charge it. As soon as it´s unplugged it switches off. Any idea?

Options

After mounting the original battery it seems to work.

So I guess the new battery is dead.

The label of the new one says 3G but I got 3GS.

Does this make any difference?
