Compass doesn't work after replacing display assembly

I dropped my iPhone 4 and cracked the screen, so I followed the repair guide to replace the display assembly.

After replacing, all the functions are doing well, but the compass is not working. I open the compass app, in the calibrate screen, the red dot does not roll around, and then entering the compass screen, the compass does not spin around.

Did I touch or miss or broke something while repair the display assembly?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

It's possible the drop could have damaged the gyroscope..

Does the apps still move around on the home screen when you tilt the phone up and down?

If not then the gyro has been damaged and a motherboard repair is needed..

First of all tho I wouldn't rule out that a restore might fix this issue try that first.

No, the compass does not work at all.

But I suppose the gyroscope is functioning,I installed Labyrinth to test it and the game is well functioning.

So maybe a restore might help, maybe I'll try it this weekend. Thanks!
