Doesn't turn on. No fans. No LEDs.

My MBP just turned off once i unplugged the USB of my lightning cable (no iphone at the other end).

Power button doesn't seem to do a thing- no fans or any other sound.

Doesn't charge.

The battery-level LEDs are also irresponsive.

I was just wondering if there is a chance it's not the logic board because as a student I was really scared by it's price.

Thanks

You may want to try an SMC reset first, and then I would also try opening up the computer physically disconnect the battery and hold the power button down for about 10 seconds. Put the computer back together and attempt to turn on. but from the sounds of it, it could be a hardware issue as well. You can try opening up the computer and checking the MagSafe board for damage. It seems the computer was in use when it turned off so the battery could have die if the MagSafe board was not supplying power to the computer. Fortunately the MagSafe board is not an expensive part to replace. But try the first fixes before replacing hardware.
