Philips Aurea model 42PFL9900D-10, replacing with other type

Hello,

I have Philips model no 42PFL9900D-10, but the display monitor is broken. I want to ask if it is possible to replace the LCD display with other type of TV monitor with have same dimenzions. Thank you

I already have opened the TV and on the background on LCD panel it write: LC420WU4-120Hz.

I hope I will find the correct replacement. Its like a challenge for me. I already have sony 42" plasma tv, but I want to fix this. :)

master, can it be done? May be ;-) What model d10 do you have? There are 6 revisions and two panels that are being used. LCD display LC420WU4-SLB1 (LGPH) LCD display and LC420WU5-SLB1 (LGPH). SO first you need to find the proper panel number, then you'll have to find the proper datasheet to see what connections are being used. Then you can try and find a similar size panel and need to match the connectors. It is possible but not easy.
