iPhone 4 replacement screen has lines and colours are really bright!

Hello,

So I opened my iPhone to replace the home button flex cable and ended up breaking the cable for the digitizer. So I bought a new screen and connected. Everything seemed to be fine until the screen started to display tiny lines at random followed by a screen full of lines whenever a green colour came up on the screen. It got even worse when I use camera apps such as snapchats because the screen would just go crazy and then go blank. When the screen goes blank, you can still see the backlight and the phone responds to touch.

Also, I also noticed that the screen was flipped one time and the contrast was very high. It is very hard to explain and the problems do not capture well on camera but I still updated a few pictures.
