Are the screens universal, same for iPod 5th, 7th gens?

I am just wondering whether I can use my 7th gen iPod (classic) thats got a bad HDD, and pull the screen from that and use it on my 5th gen iPod (Video) that has a bad screen. Thanks!! :)

Ben, sorry that won't fit. The displays are different. The ribbon cable is slightly offset and the display does not fit the case.
