Can't find a replacement capacitor. Is there an alternative one?

I'm looking for a CBB61 3 wire Capacitor 450VAC 5060HZ 0.5uf and 1uF Max temp 70'C.

We have a ceiling fan, which recently stopped turning. Identified it is the capacitor which when taken out is a three wire CBB61 450VAC50/60HZ 0.5uf and 1uf black box..... searched internet high and low and can't find it anywhere. Do anyone know if a different one may work?

@Ej Llorca. I am looking for the same capacitor. Where you able to find one? I’ve been looking online and can’t find it.

Kirsty Clark, you can get those from places like this. It is simply two caps in one case. So if nothing else you can get two capacitor and attach those according to the schematic on the current cap. You can get a Three-wire capacitor that has slightly different values. You have to get either the same or higher uF. the voltage can be at 250VAC

Thank you for your help. I found one which is 450vac but slightly higher uF 1.25 and 2.25 ... would that be safe to use?

'm looking for a CBB61 3 wire Capacitor 450VAC 1uf and 2uF Max temp 70'C.

I have a ceiling fan, which recently stopped turning. Identified it is the capacitor which when taken out is a three wire CBB61 450VAC 1uf and 2uf black box; max temp = 70 degrees Celsius. I have searched the internet high and low and can't find it anywhere. I have, however, found a replacement capacitor i.e. 3 wire 1uf + 2uf but the voltage is 250V. Can anyone tell me whether this will work or will it burn out or cause damage to the fan motor?

Try Dan's Fan City or Amazon for this part. Also might be on e-bay.
