How much does HDD Torx compatible?

hello guys.

i saw the replacement HDD of MacBook Pro 13" (after 2011 early) and i wonder how much Torx screw driver compatible.

it says T6 used, but can i use T8?

because before i5, C2D used T8 it says, and also my other stuffs uses T8 so i want to unite my tools.

i think T7 may works, but anybody knows T8 also works?

You need to use the correct sized Torx driver for the given screw.

The size of the Torx head is determined by the thread size of the screw - larger thread = larger the Torx driver refer here and here. You cant arbitrarily change the Torx size
