Why won't it boot up

Can't get my HP mini to boot up. Won't boot in safe mode either. Also, can't get it to access restore discs from external DVD unit. Starts the boot just fine but once the HP logo disappears, it stops and I just get a faint Microsoft crawler across the bottom of the screen

I've tried the repair screen but that goes as far as my boot. Any thoughts from out there?

Well if u can boot bios verify that u still have a working hardrive by checking if bios still detects it, after that u can try to use a windows cd to do a repair on it, maybe some sistem files are corrupted, if this fails try using a linux live cd to run some hardware diagnostics ( if u have 2 many bad sectors it might not load windows properly ).

If hard drive is ok and repair doesnt work u will have to do a clean instal .

You need to go to bios settings and restore your computer then it will start working fine.

Note - while you will restore your computer. it will uninstall all softwares from your computer. so please make sure about that.
