My phone doesn't charge unless it is completely shutdown
it doesn,t charge if it is on
it must be completely off to charge
please help me

lylad, it is possible that your battery is discharged to low. "
When your battery is low, the device will emit a warning tone and show a low battery message.Recharge your battery to continue using your device. If the battery is completely discharged, you cannot turn on the device, even while it is charging. Allow a depleted battery to charge for a few minutes before you try to turn on the device. You do want to check your charger and make sure that it is functioning first. also remember that this device is one that does not (or if it does, then it is very very slow) to charge from your computer. you will need to use the Samsung charger. there is an option in your settings that if checked the tablet will not charge unless it is off. the fix is to uncheck it. hope this is your problem and it helps you out. :)

Where is this option in settings. I've looked in all the settings areas and can't find this option
