Why cant I see anything through the display?

Hi guys,

My DSC T33 Sony Photocamera turns on you can charge the accu, but the bulb of the flash light is broken and if you switch to camera mode or video mode the display is dark doesnt show anything ? Idea ? Where can I buy that tiny bulb for the flash light ? How can I fix the other problem ?

chorasan, the part for your flash is part number 1-478-972-11 FLASH UNIT Cost around $30US but may be cheaper depending on where you get it from. For your display staying dark, I would first check the LCD. You did not tell us if you see anything on it at any time. If you do see something just not your picture, it is most likely that the CCD imager has failed. Part number for that is A-1075-408-A and check this video for the How-to. hope this helps, good luck.

the display is usually black all the time but if I hold my finger on the button to take photos just a little the camera trys to find a focus and the display gets a little blue just for a millisecond... thank you for the video I'll try to order the flash thanks a lot

"little blue just for a millisecond" is most likely your LCD power. It does sound like your CCD has failed.

ccd in us about 55 dollars and if I buy it online from german stores 125 euros so I can buy a new camera instead which is way better .. but thanks anyway
