Repair tip of the day
When repairing a surfboard ding, using a thin sheet of plastic while the resin cures can help create a smooth finish and minimize the amount of sanding you have to do when it hardens. I often use a small cutout from a ziploc bag. If you are using solarez or some other resin that cures via sunlight, you MUST use a clear piece of plastic for the light to penetrate. Otherwise, opaque plastic sheets are fine.
