MacbookPro 2015 Keyboard backlight connector broken while dissembling the logic board ,now it was not power on , please tell keyboard has to change in order to power on.

As you damaged the keyboard cable connection to the keyboard backlight you’ll need to replace the either the keyboard backlight assembly or the uppercase which is a lot easier!

In either you’ll need a new battery as well! MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2015) Battery as you’ll damage yours in the process!

i crushed my connector trying to plug it back in after reassembly - has anyone been able to bend back crushed connector terminals?

Can you please post some pics of your cable and logic board so we can see the damage. Posting the guide picture doesn't help.

OK, still we need to see whats broken so we can guide you to what needs replacing. Do you need a new cable? Do you need a new logic board? Do you need a new keyboard?

@Dan the logic was not working already brought logic board EMC2910, from eBay ,while replacing the logic board the black light connector for keyboard was broken,it it affect the working for mac or working with broken connector.

So you ripped off the cable! Thats not the connector its self.
Sadly time for a new keyboard or uppercase
