Dsi touchscreen not working at all

Touchscreen on my dsi does not work at all, however problem is in the motherboard, the same screen works perfectly fine on another console.

Tried solder the touchscreen connector, didn’t help. All parts near connector look fine, what can be the problem?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi!

You already tried a lot as I can see! Replacing touchscreen connector didn’t worked.. But the touchscreen does work another DSi.

At this moment it is motherboard related. Did you checked for any shorts on the motherboard? Is everything up to date? Is everything else working fine?

Otherwise, you probably do need to replace the motherboard…

I am comparing right now everything with another board, checking for shortages and resistances on different components. Quite difficult to do that without schematics and with no markings on diode/transistor looking components, since I have no idea what are those and how do they work.

Hmm, can’t find any schematics regarding the DSi motherboard. This indeed takes a lot of time… sorry.
